My standard set-up is my typewriter and a small desk sign reading “Poetry Upon Request”. For outdoor events, I can also bring a table, chair, and larger sign. I generally type on 5.5 by 8.5 inch sheets, and I can accommodate custom stationery close to that size. Is there any special set-up you’d like?

Is there a particular typewriter look you prefer? I have elegant, curvy 20s and 30s models, boxy film noir 40s and 50s models, and colorful 60s and 70s models. I only use manual typewriters.

What is the appropriate dress for your event? I can accommodate anything from T-shirt to tuxedo. Are there themes or colors to keep in mind?

Is there any area of knowledge I can get more familiar with to enrich my connection with your guests? For example, you might share your company’s mission for a corporate event, your relationship history for a wedding, or your favorite obscure movie so I can catch all your friends’ nerdy references.
